At EquiZen Sanctuary & Healing Herd Project, nestled in the peaceful landscapes of Texas, we provide lifelong refuge for rescue horses, seniors, and other animals who have found their way home to healing. Each resident carries a story of resilience, second chances, and the quiet power of connection. Some have overcome neglect or hardship; others are simply living out their golden years surrounded by love. Here, we focus on holistic care, nurturing both body and spirit. Through compassion, consistency, and calm, our herd reminds us daily that healing isn’t just for them it’s for all of us who pause long enough to listen. Together, we’re building more than a sanctuary we’re creating a community rooted in empathy, balance, and the belief that every act of kindness matters.

Each donation directly supports the daily care, feed, and medical needs of our rescued and senior horses. One time gifts go toward urgent priorities, while monthly contributions help us plan ahead and provide stability for our herd. Give Where It Matters Most 1. What Your Gift Covers: Safe hay cubes or root veggies for one resident for 3–4 days $25 Basic feed for one animal for one day (hay + grain) $50 Farrier trim or basic medical supplies (first-aid, antibiotics) $100 One veterinary exam or routine vaccination for one resident $250 Sponsor one animal’s care for ~1 week: feed, bedding, staff time $500 Emergency care fund — helps cover unexpected medical or transport needs $1,000 Major support toward monthly herd operations (feed, hoof care, meds) 2. Monthly Giving Levels $15 / month (Friend) Helps cover enrichment, minor supplies, treats $50 / month (Sustainer) Contributes to routine medical supplies or farrier visits $150 / month (Herd Guardian) Offsets a portion of monthly feed & care for multiple animals $300+ / month (Life Steward) Covers a large share of core monthly costs for the sanctuary 3.
